Right it has come to my attention , about having mud flaps fitted to my car ,

Is It Good [:D]

or

Bad To Have Them [:$]

and does anyone else have them ????

I HAVE THEM [:D]

I've always had them on my cars, because

1. They keep most of the crud from going up your car

2. They stop stones & things flicking up & chipping the paint

I agree with vedhead[Y] You won't find them on my motor, and you also gotta remember that a lot of muck and moisture get trapped between the back of the flap and your paint work, prolonged fitment could lead to further problems on painted/sprayed bodywork

Had them on the mk4, kept hte sides cleaner but that's about it.

I can see th epoint about problems with a lowered beast tho definitely! [:|]

As mentioned on the other mud flap thread they can prevent debris being chucked up on to bikers and other road users which makes back flaps more than a cosmetic addition. They should be an obligatory safety device.

Are you on the right forum. This is for cars !!!! Bikes are a different breed, get your own forum !!!!! LOL.
