Right, After giving the Supercharger conversion some thought and a lot of phone calls latter i have decided to go for a Turbo conversion instread. www.eiptuning.com (the guys with the mental R32 Bi-tubro) have been very very helpful. With the items that i have and am looking at getting, 350-400BHP would be a realistic power figure.

So the spec so far is.....

A custom maifold.

New ECU

HKS T4 / T3 Hybrid Roller bearing turbo

Low Compression Pistons

Metal gaskets

Nice Big Intercooler

Nice new Clutch ETC

I'd just go for the S3 option.

Nice out of the box package easily chippable to around 280+bhp with minimum fuss.

Prices are starting to come down a bit now too...

Will be looking in to options myself later next year as well, as I test drove an S3, very nice.. just didn't want to go over my budget[:)]

edit: just been having a good long look/think at the STAGE 2 MMMMMMMMMMMM 400-470 BHP Nice!!!!

Just check out the bloody video !![:O] (bottom of page)

I'm going to contact them first thing in the New Year to work out options, prices [:(]and implementation time for a project starting late 2005. I want to know how realistic, reliable the system is and what else needs to be done apart from the obvious, brakes, handling etc, which will kick off in Jan-Feb with some ARB's and UK feasibility in terms of handling the project.[?]

We?ve got some monster Gti?s, so me thinks we had some kick *** 4mo?s in the UK[:D]

I think the reason we don't see many UK turbo'd V6's on UK shores is because there are problems fitting the turbo or turbo pipework as the cars are RHD.

However, I'm sure that could be worked around by creating a custom manifold or something like that?

I would love to see some turbo'd UK MK4 V6's! I'm sure they would be awesome to drive!

Yeah, I posted a link above to an older post where a 4mo owner was going to do the same thing!and EIP was going to use there own manifold, think the only thing he needed to do was rearrange some piping and something with the brakes.
