Been thinking about decatting my Golf, the only question i have is does it have a lambda sensor. Do you think the picture, is the exhaust is required for my car, i believe it did come of a TDI115 but mine is the 130.

Theres no lambda on the mk4 tdi, and from a distance that pic looks right for yours.
Thanks will be buying this, how much difference would it change the sound.

You will fail an MOT with this unless you have a dodgy or ignorant tester. 115 and 130 have different turbo and the downpipe connects to the turbo outlet but I don't think they are different size outlets - I could be wrong. Best bet to not annoy the MOT man is to gut your existing cat. It doesn't have to work, it just has to be visible.

Same downpipe fits the 115 and the 130 though and the 150 too and the 90, the 110, the 100 etc etc. You get the idea lol.

If you really want the sound it's the back box you want to remove, best to keep the cat to stop the drone when cruising, doesn't affect the poke anyway.

Cheers will think about your comments
I have a decat just like that (oversized 2.5 inch) and the OEM back box no problem with the drone that seatmann has pointed out... and i do loads of motorway miles and short town runs. Like he said with or without the cat it doesn't affect the poke.

The mention of MOT fail should be applicable but my car passed mot before the rules changed and afterwards with the decat on.... and my mot guy finds everything , as i do insist on him failing the car on the smallest things... I drive a lot and want to be safe period.
Nah I'm talking about a straight through, that drones but keeping the cat can help that.

yeah straight through is a noisy bugger... i didn't even like the idle noise it made without the backbox on (mainly because i had a vr6 and nothing sounds like that except for a vr6, one of the best engine notes till date)

Doesn't fit the 90.. The 90 has the same wastegated turbo setup as the petrols so has 4 studs rather than 3 and is a completely different shape.

AGR 90 at least, there is a later 90 that uses VNT so would maybe fit that. ????

Kyle!
Yeh alh, it was out about the same time but my main point was that even though the 130 and 150 do use a fatter downpipe the smaller pipes flange bolts up just the same.
