Just bought a mkiv golf turbo[]

And am going to get a cat back exhaust in the next 2 weeks!!!

But i am worried the miltek may be too quiet????

I dont want it to boom but want people to know i have put my foot down[:I][]

My discreet back box miltek is boomy on cruise but quietens on full chat! I think the discreet pipes keep the sound behind the bumper and dont let it out the back on cruise.

i had the jetex cat back system on my cupra 1.8t and was VERY happy with it. nice sound, not too boomy, and looked great. perfect fit too.

If it's too quiet get a straight through mid section and sports cat. The Miltek exhaust is of exceptional quality!!

I've had mine on the car for over a year.

Wife drives it normally...no complaints there either.

Nice and quiet when you want it and a nice deep burble when hot with a nice rasp under full chat.

Good fit and qualtiy to boot plus lifetime warranty.

Got a Remus system on the valver which again is excellent German quality (F1 Exhaust makers) same as Sebring.

I wouldn't change having got the Milltek

OUt of interest... ON the Awesome site they claim 8-10% improvement, that'd be about 16-20BHP on my car, is that true or a tad opptomistic?

Yup.. they did mine for me on Sept 12th. Very happy with it so far.. you can hear the difference when outside the car.. only a little when inside and at lower speeds.
