"Show me whatcha got!"

Down with the creativity this month. I just want to see the absolute best photograph you have taken. I want 1 new one (and I will be checking the EXIF data!) and one from your own personal work. It can be anything you like but must be bloody good! [:D]

As always here be them thar rules:
  • A maximum of 2 photographs per member to be posted for each month's challenge, one old and one new.
  • All photographs must be resized to be 640px480px to retain a gallery look and feel to the postings.
  • And,
if you can, try to retain the EXIF information on your photographs so
we can see your camera settings used to take your photographs.
  • Only 4 photographs will be put through to the final vote and a maximum of 1 entry per participant.
  • Finalists are on my judgement.
Please submit all work only between May 4th to May 19th. After that date the best s election will be put forward for voting.

Cheers,

David

Tough one David. Will head out this weekend to capture a "fresh" picture. The Swedish GTI club is meeting so chances are high that there will be oppertunity for some cool racing pix.

This first one because at full size, every drop of water is pin sharp, and at this venue (Ocean village Marina,Southampton),the light always seems to be in the right position for the best shots.I like this kind of photo as water is the most dynamic thing on earth,it's always changing and never gives the same image twice.

The 57 Chevy leaving the lights at Santa Pod was hand held with a 500mm Sigma lens, and it's particularly difficult at this venue to get decent photos of the start line as the numpty photographers with the posh dayglow tabards with "PRESS" written on them are always doing their best to get in the way,and couldn't care less that lesser mortals don't have the privelages that they do.

I totally missed this. Might have some from the weekend...

Not sure if I'm understanding correctly though - you want one new one from after May 4th and one from the archive, any time?

Mags, as always - wow! The bridge shot is superb [Y]
Thanks Cat, not much hope to win this month though with this tough competition.

Now dig through your archives, I am sure you have some ace shots to enter!

A new one from last weekend. A Mk1 Escort RS 2000 and an Austin Healy battling it out at Croft Race Circuit.

Also pretty recent, but just missed the opening date (taken in the park, 30th April, Sofia Bulgaria)
