"Looking Down"

OK, something a little different this month and not really what you take but how you take it. I want to see interesting and unusual photography taken directly above your subject. Looking down basically. This could be an arrangement of mugs, looking down on some fields from an air ballon or whatever you like. As long as it's striking and interesting!

As always here be them thar rules:
  • A maximum of 2 photographs per member to be posted for each month's challenge.
  • All photographs must be new and original, no recycling your old shots!
  • All photographs must be resized to be 640x480px to retain a gallery look and feel to the postings.
  • And,
if you can, try to retain the EXIF information on your photographs so
we can see your camera settings used to take your photographs.
  • Finalists are on my judgement.
Please submit all work only between March 1st to March 14th. After that date the best s election will be put forward for voting.

Cheers,

David

Sorry guys but it does need to be looking down, from above so unfortunately these wont be counted and remember that they need to be new photographs as the rules state. Cool pics though [:)]

EDIT - Ahh looking again I see that Sammy's was a reflection in a river. I'll let that one through but if you have 2 more directly looking down I'll put those through.

Just to confirm the theme. Looking down is looking directly down from above onto the object. For an example, stand up and look down at your feet. This is the angle I'm asking for.

The shots above are great but they aren't quite was i was looking for. Top down views such as the ones in the AlexMcLean link posted above.

If anyone has any questions about this please PM me and i'll be happy to answer.

Cheers,

David

This is the angle i would like the photos to be taken from.

Point your camera down wards towards your subject.

90 degrees from horizontal.

Hope this makes sense now.

Camera: Casio EX-Z40

The next is a bit gory (if too much please remove!)

That's got to hurt! (Looking down on my leg after coming off a mountain bike in Mallorca, and wondering what to do next! Note rental MkV!)
