Yep they've ruined it for everyone.

What I don't understand is why they want so much in way of a fee? If it was reasonable most people would pay it, but I can't see many paying what they want.

True enough Jim....If it were a reasonable annual charge I would pay. I don't really need the amount of storage space they want me to have, There are far cheaper storage options out there.

 

It's just an absolute pita swapping and re-embedding all the photos in the correct place. I did try Flickr few years ago, but I found the app was crap so stuck to photobucket.

I've been using IImgur so far, actually for a few years.

Are there any ways we could get more storage on uk-mkivs for more photos?

i'd be happy to pay a monthly fee for bandwidth / traffic to upload pictures to somewhere which won't go offline

Well its been a while since I last logged in here....

The car is still going strong although its time for a new turbo as I have plumes of smoke!

Just had new wings and sills fitted. Painted all front end.

Had a dent repaired on the rear arch caused from someone who drove into me!

Cars looking well.

Personally I use Flickr and then jsut trim the fat from the embed link.

 

Well almost another year has gone by... I fitted a Venom hybrid turbo about this time last year. This weekend I put in a new clutch and flywheel. Been slipping a fair bit when the torque kicks in. Opted for another CG Motorsport went for the dual friction this time. So far so good.

 

Quick update.. Well its 2022 and I still have this...

Put a new set of rims on as they were all out of true.
