get a 1.8 T Gti or you are wasting your money, then just the usual mk4 faults,
Make sure both front seats move to allow access into the back, apart from that I think it's just the same as other Mk4 faults

Always baffles me why you're wasting your money if you don't buy a turbo[:(]? I've had a non turbo for five years now and I'm more than happy with what I've got as it's exactly what I wanted.I have about as much interest in big BHP and engine tuning as I do in flower arranging,a lot of other people are the same and will always be happy with stock BHP outputs and buy their cars for other reasons.

Thanks for your help guys not long and will find out what it is lol will post pics If buy it then my 5dr will be for sale
Why have a lot of posts gone from here, there were twice this number this morning?

Hello

This is something completely different to wat your talk about but ive got a set of konig k5000 seats and i need some new subframes but konig subframes for a mk4 golf cost £250 wat other subframe do you think i should get...................thanks
Laffin. Your own thread? lol.

Imagewerx. I believe there were 2 threads initially, and this is probably the second, less popular thread.
I went from a 5dr 1.6 to a 3dr 1.8T and love it! 1.8 n/a is better than the 2.0 tho. I Think mk4s look nicer in a 3dr than a 5.

That's what The Allstar meant above by "door drop",yes it can be fixed easily with the right tools and NOT by putting a trolly jack under it as I'm sure someone will suggest.
