Ok its over to the experts on this one. My aim is to have my AUM 1.8t putting out as close to 300bhp as i can but i want style as well as performance. I want to fit 18" or 19" wheels they must be lightweight to stop them from slowin the car too much but still look classy. Anyone got any sugesstions or pictures? come on people work your magic.

Pretty much most things BBS

The RC's from an Anni are quite light.

or the CH's from RS golf.

Both very nice wheels and will do the trick.

Hope this helps

I'd love a set of 18" OZ Superleggera's in custom black or anthracite, great looks and ultra light.
Ive held a 15'' one of them and there was no weight to it what so ever compared to other makes!

Would be a good choice for weightsaving.

Hey Shuiming, when are you going to start the "We love BBS fanclub"?

But yeah have to agree...if you want performance and style, first name that springs to mind are BBS. I just hope your pockets are deep enough!

Shuiming, those wheels are just what I'm after!!!

Currently got a set of RC's waiting to go on.

RC's aren't particularly light, neither are CH's as my friend had a set on his R32.

OZ Superleggeras are light though, but I think they are almost
discontinued, and have been replaced by the not so good looking
UltraLeggeras - still as light though!

Lightweight is definatly the way forwards if u got that much power :) U wanna be able to exploit it!

Jase I find that surprising - the RC is supposed to be one of the lightest production alloy wheels on the market. Compared to the Superleggera, both in 18x8, the RC is 8.86Kg vs 8Kg. Compared to most wheels, both would be considered light.

The RG-R should be lighter (and stronger), being a forged wheel. Also has a nice dish.

The thing with wheels is the stronger lighter ones are forged rather than cast. Look at the type of wheels they use on GT race cars for inspiration - so that will be BBS LMs again then......
