Guys I've finally decided on which mirrors to go for and they've arrived.. here they are:

Before fitting them I wanted to integrate LED side indicators into them, something similar to the two pics below i've save from magz:

Up till now i'm liking the way the LEDs are on pic 2. My problem is this, there is no way i'll be able to do a job like this, me and circuits just dont go. Can anyone advise me on where I can go to get something like this done?

Also, I think i should mention something else, the mirror shell doesn't open up, so to access the inside of the mirror to place the LEDs, the actual mirror layer itself will have to be taken out and the work will have to be done through that end which means hardly any space to work in. The mirrors are electric also, so i'm sure there will be an electric motor in there somewhere making the working space even smaller. Does anyone have any experience with opening mirrors up? if so do you know if a job like this will be doable?

Guys, my car has always bordered chav/max power territory... but hey, i'm trying to make something I dreams up a while ago and yeah it IS different but by the end I assure you it wont be Max power styli but it wont be stockish looking either. Controversial will definitely be the correct word to use.

Either way, do you guys have any idea where I might get started on something like this? Nick, the reason I didn't want the option with the side indicator is because they dont have the look I'm going for.

NO dont use those mirrors they really wont look nice use some nice Lupo mirrors instead

Have a look at Foxy website, Jon designed the circuit for the comming home lights that Golf V5 (Jimmy) is using in his mirrors

I just checked Foxy's website but I can't seem to find the link I need and the link "LED Side Lights" seems to be broken. I'll IM Foxy and see if he can help out.

How cool is this. The mirrors you have in pic one are mine!!!!! I make them for Storm motorsport. I feel like im famous now

They take me ages to do as I had to make a tool that would measure the exact gaps between LED's along the contour.

LOL. I tried that many times and it always cost me a new set of mirrors. I made a mould that fit round the mirror and clamped into position. It had 5 holes in it for the LED's and it made things a lot easier.

Mokeylock, I have still got loads of the LED's if you want them.
