That's an OEM GTi rear valence....it's a totall different shape to the stock one, and sits out a fair bit further too - about 5-8mm lip where it joins the coloured part.....

.....Daylight pics of the car so far to follow soon !

EDIT:

Some pics from Milltek's site from the day I had it fitted...

very nice. Although i can see why the 15mm spacers were a problem.

Are you not going to de-badge or at least de-sticker the rear [?].

@Rivage....the zorst has definately free'd up the engine's breathing, and it's now VERy ripe for a remap to address the new fuelling 'headroom'....but on the whole still a benefit even as stock.

@Dannyboy - yes, as Touranman said - 18" Non-UK spec Votex Karthoums.

@02Bora - debadging the TDi part is on the cards.....perhaps just leaving GOLF

@GTi Jazz Blue - Re: Lard-bum....the camera adds 4 pounds.....okay, okay so that means i have 15 cameras trained on the car in that shot !!!

I think it's coz the car is now lower, which makes the rear appear wider...the wheel track adds to this effect.

Wow, looks great m8. Shame you had to take the spacers off...

Ditto what Sem said, would look sweet with the upper part of the valance painted.
