hey

finally after a year or so of pondering what car to get next.(anni,r32,s4,s3,new gti) I have finally got one(well picking her up on friday)

I drove along way to look at this one,

its a 2002(51plate) Nogaro Blue s3. it has alcantara and black leather heated recaro seats,bose sound and dash 6cd. 3 point centre rear seat belt and head rest,centre arm rest.the car is so well built and has loads of nice features, the guy let me test drive it for an hour until he and i were both happy that the car was performing as it should. he had every service receipt and warrenty ever done on the car. the milage is a bit high at 49k but i dont care. i had a to get an s3 worth under 15k to satisfy the insurence company. as soon as i sell my golf in a few weeks its then upto to jbs for revo,brembos and a miltek system. il post some pics when i pick her up[]

The nogarro blue is superb, most seem to be silver or black.

tell me, why have you moved from a tdi to a beasty S3?

I have had a mk4 gt tdi (revo'd), then a mk4 1.8t (revo'd) and now I have an audi A3 tdi quattro sport (revo'd) and its AWESOME! so the S3 must be a complete beast... and can be pushed up to around 265bhp!

can anyone shed any light on fuel consumption figures on an s3 please? this is the only thing stopping me making a purchase (god I am getting old!) as I have a 100 mile round trip to work every day...

i moved from the tdi to the s3 cos i am not bothered about mpg anymore,plus i am fed up at leaving my front tyres shredding the road hence the quattro of the s3.plus it has so much class and a great feel to it. you can drive it around quietly and no one will notice or you can floor it and make it drive like a beast.plus its cheaper and quicker than an r32 when chipped!
