Mines been done a couple of months now, only problem is that the front tyres are now nearly worn out [:I]

If you have anything else in mind (i.e. an exhaust) I'd get that done first as Jabba is truely custom they will take that into account.

get all the mods you can done before getting the map because you will not see the full benefit of the mods you add after the map. i got all my mods done first before getting the custom map, and it is frustrating waiting to raise the cash for it all but its defo the way to go. i got 240bhp and 255lbs now but if i did it the other way round i would have seen much less.

I am off to Jabba soon 4 a remap,, and was in same situation ,,mods then remap or vice versa, so I rang them,, and they said it made no difference ,you got the same power out of it which ever way round you fit ,,just that mods then remap,,you get to see full power on there rolling road. But ,,,

I decided to go with gut feeling and fitting full Milltek before I go down.

i cant see how you would get the same power by fitting the extras after the map as it is a custom map and would need to be set up to deal with the higher gas flow from the miltek.also the 4bar fpr will be able to flow more fuel. so this needs to be taken in to account..

Not correct Jon... Not at all.

Software tool by Dimsport... no different in event to REVO's own software tools, both used to tailor the table settings, TAILORING the mapping during the dynoing etc.....

Dimsport code keeps the checksums aligned so the ecu remains happy...

Dimsport don't make code or maps, they supply the where with all to allow tuners to adjust.

Thats exactly what I'm trying to point out bill that they can only really adjust boost and timing tables, and the max amount of boost/timing that you can run on a 1.8T with a specific fuel doesn't vary much.

It's the 'custom' if I change my exhaust etc I'll need a new one rumor that I was trying to dispel. One car to the next, the settings will be very similar. They provide good remaps, and the base maps from dimsport have had plenty of r&d go into them. If dimsport don't provide the base maps, why do you have to download ecu specific data from their website for each ecu number?
