is there any way of getting in where the drive shafts go into the gear box? without taking the gear box out?

my speedo sensor is working but inside the box the cog must not be matching up and need to have a look?

The speed sensor is on the back of the gearbox at the top, behind the block, ontop of the diff, PROPER pain in the bum to get at without removing a fair few parts, remove your intake and battery, then your linkage etc and lean round the back with a torch, you will see a thin plastic line going into the box, thats it. Its bolted to the box, undo the bolt and itll pull out, be careful not to pull the line off tho, if the end falls intot he box its box out and split time, not good.
