I dont know about any of you, but work at the moment is actually truely mental...

i am doing 12 hour days and a lot of my staff are working all the hours that god sends...

it seems sickness is through the roof and customers are more demanding than ever...

is it just me...

half our staff are off sick and the sites are on massive backlogs coz of the holidays and weather last month, so yeah lol
walked back in on tuesday expecting the usual january slow start, turns out we have 4 jobs for the next two weeks including a drive to munich.... gonna be a long year by the looks of it.
Don't get me wrong, in hard times for industry is great to be busy but bloody hell, not this crazy.
Yep. Absolutely insane here at UPS. Contracted to work from 16:30-20:00 but im doing 13:00-23:30. Still here now! lol

It's been non stop since christmas, all the teenagers are of sick at the moment and I've only had one day off sick in nine years. What's wrong with kids these days?

I think there is a general downturn in peoples attitudes mate, I am like you, rarely ill, or if I am I just get on with it. My work has so many people off with "flu" at the moment, our receptionist went home today because she felt "a bit dizzy"

wtf.
Been offered saturdays 7 till 5 if we want, itd be rude not to tbh [Y]
Yep, absolutely bonkers on a personal level - seems mostly admin, despite my job demanding much more at the moment.

Worked between Xmas & NY - returned to 210 emails after 2 1/2 days off before Xmas - returning on 29th Dec! The demands of the directors is just relentless, and generally unrealistic - they don't understand / care of the detail involved in the day to day role.

I'm seriously sick of my job - so close to leaving, but the main question is to where? I think this is the problem, so many people are being stretched so far, but leaving a secure job for somewhere unknown is the issue...
im back on monday was ment to be last monday but the wather has stoped me i hope it doesnt snow eny more
Shame everyone at where i work (a shop) dont respect their jobs and the fact they are lucky to have a job! oh well will be recruiting again soon!
