I would put it back to standard. The average Golf Buyer just wants a original spec car. Too many mods would make me think that its been driven hard.

i have just written my 2001 gti off and will be looking for a nice new one once the insurance company pays up. yours sounds very nice, and i could well be interested. im insured for a gti with a amd remap already so the only thing thats concerns me is the bhp increse from 6ks worth of mods. how much of a power hike is there?

Sold the car now mate, got what i wanted in the end. Had loads of calls from the autotrader aswell.

The power was around 230bhp estimated. Never had it dyno'd tho.
