The ipod dock should have come with about 4 different dock adapters for different ipods, do you not have any of these?
Ipod and armrest connector
I have a 2007 Golf 1.9 Tdi Match (so with the RCD300, Ipod connector under the armrest and the highline computer).
I have been using a 3rd Generation Ipod Nano. It connects okay (and seems to charge with no problem!), but because it won't fit the VW bracket, the Ipod is not held securely.
It is moved over bumps and as a result, either loses sound completely or crackles (as you'd expect with a poor connection}.
Does anyone know if there is a bracket available that will hold this type of Ipod securely?
And on a slightly unrelated note, am I right in thinking there is something available from Denison that will allow track info to be shown on the highline display?

ive got a complete pack of adaptors if you are interested mate, the gen 3 charge fine its just the 4 and on
