hi guys, for the last two months my clutch has seemed to be slipping but only in 3rd, 4th and 5th and only between 3k and 4k revs. after 4k it picks up again. but the weird bit is that it is only doing it every now and then. it can be fine for a week but then doing exactly the same type of driving another week it will do it. would it be worth bleeding the clutch 1st as a cheaper option to see if its just an air lock? cheers. You slip at those revs because thats probablly where your max torque and lots of power is.You stop slipping after 4k because the torque/power delivery isnt as harsh there and your clutch can just about handle it .... for now.

Not sure on the clutch bleeding, i dont think it will make any difference for you.

Just out of interest how many miles has your current clutch done and what power are you running?

Jay.
