Saw this on ATP Turbo's website seems like a good idea if you want a quiet exhaust note for everyday running around - but can't see it being legal as it bypasses the cat when open[?]
As for the original topic of the thread. There's one winging it's way to JBS at the moment for test fitting. Think it'll have to be on a switch aswell, for when plods around, or i'm in town.
I was talking to Jim at Awesome and he runs (ran) his Track TT with no silencers at all (just straight through pipe) and he reckons its not much louder than the stock Milltek system...
Remember much of the silencing is done by the turbo itself..
Why would it fail an MOT, especially if its on a switch? As far as the tester should be concerned, there IS a CAT in place and the emissions are fine so...
