Smart Brabus coupe-roadster;

- 101bhp - 0.7 turbo [:D]

- 875kg

- 6 speed seqential box

- Heated leather

- Mid engined RWD

- electric roof

I saw one in the flesh today and I love it - its about half the height of a normal smart car [:O]

I have a test drive booked for next weekend

They are supposed to be go karts, not that quick but they feel very quick

And the engine screams behind you and sounds like a mini 911 - and the wastegate chatters loudly as well [:D]

They make no sense but I am in love........

Mob,

Tell me you haven't sold the 330Ci to buy the A3?

Matt

Wife is going to be doing major business miles and is getting a car allowance, so the 330 is going [:(]

Please post your thoughts MOB after you have driven it. As I am going to start working in London soon and will need to change the Golf for something a bit smaller, as the golf won't fit in the Garage. I would especially like to here your thoughts on the gearbox.

Yeah the things that concern me are the gearbox (though its better on this apparantly) and the ride quality

I have read reviews of it and its supposed to be a great little thing - I'll let you know [;)]

Yep sequential using the gear stick, full auto and steering wheel paddles will be sampled

They are like hens teeth to test drive at the moment, let alone buy, but I got a phone call today saying a ?250 (fully refundable if I dont like the car) deposit would secure the one coming to the Northampton dealer in about 5-10 days

I would have silver like the one above - it is absolutely stunning in the flesh [:O]

Not long bought one, although it's mainly the girlfriend who uses it.

It's a hoot to drive, just so much fun to throw around.

The gearbox takes a little getting used to and is much better when used as a manual (especially with the paddle shift).

What colour did you get? Have you got any pictures you can post? Did you go for any options like the hard top?

It's the silver Brabus roadster so has all the nice toys and increase in performance as standard.

Didn't go for the hardtop as it's only going to add weight and that's not really the point of the car, light and chuckable is the order of the day.

No pictures at the mo but I'll give it a polish and see what I can sort out.
