Thanks for the reply but I like to know how they assembly to golf rear windows :)
Guide if possible .
Definetly an improvement on the sealed window but will this cause a security risk?
My old Vtr has these windows & is common on most cars nowdays as you all know already but i dont know why vw didnt adopt this common method upon designing the 3door mk4. I spect there is some sort of device you can link to the alarm system to to ad security to the windows?
Same ere I still have the Vtr / vts both from new one owner at lock up and rear windows opening as stated here . Clifford alarm no problem at all
I just want this mod on my golf will not attempt it tho unless I get good information on how to .
Yeah i would go ahead & do the mod & reap the benefits in the hot summer days , but will def need added deterants on the windows.
On my saxo i added neon blue alarm leds to the top of the panel trim so it looked like the front door card leds, it took a bit of routing the wires from splicing at the front but it looked proffessional as if the rear windows were wired up to the alarm system.
Ditto mine was like that I tap in to to the Clifford flashing and wire 4 way blue led I'll get some pics of it . But I want this mod big time ????????????????????????
Here you go........

Sadly i dinked my saxo hence why i now have the mk4 1.8t AUM .i did have photos of my vtr & the leds but my samsung 32gb SD card decided that it wouldnt want to work anymore & died with all my pics on it so cant show you any pics of the vtr
I did the head liner in blue white & black camo aswell which went well with the electric blue paintwork.

Just use the search tool within the thread at the top of the page for galaxy, does April 2012 sound about right Imageworks?

Got to say it looks smart, but does it make the shell less rigid loosing the bonded glass?
