So its happened again! Last time was over 3years ago -But that was a clear jumping of lights. About four camera flashes that time.! 3points and ?60 fine.[:(]

The thing is ive been flashed before but not had a letter . It looked like those normal yellow things (Gatso?).

I was on the A40 coming onto the A406. 50mph to 40mph just suddenly.. An abvious trap! I feel gutted as I wasnt even booting it! The letter clearly says 50mph in a 40mph. The thing is im sure my speed was just under 50. Anyway....what next?

What do u fellas reckon I should do?

Was I driving the car at the time? hehehe

I would write a letter to the Court explaining the mitigating circumstances, after all it was unusual to have a terrorist in the back of the car with a gun pointing at your head telling you to drive quickly or he would have sex with your Budgie.

I might add you should also explain how lucky you were that the terrorist got out of the car after learning that you did not have enough fuel to get to Bassra.

Anyway lets hope that the Police track down this Osama Bin Quickly, so that he can testify to the threat.

ive thought of that, my mate is 19 and had his licence coming up 15 months, he had 3 different 3 points for speeding, so he would have had his licence revoked but his mum took the first 3, then his dad took the other 3 ane he has 3, if he gets another 3 because he had his licence lower than 2yrs he will lose it. haha..

Moral of the story is, get someone else to take the points...!

Other option is tho, get a 70yr old lady who wont drive, she can take 6 points on her provisional easily?? My idea, so who got a nana with no licence?

Lucky he wasn't driving a diesel or that fuel line wouldn't wash.....[:D]

Nice to see how your mate learnt from the valuable lesson that his parents taught him!

Thanks for the input Chaps!

I think im gonna swollow the points. I wish you could just pay extra to get the points office. However that wouldnt make sense in serious offence.

Although this was quite dangerous driving -[8)]

ive had that happen several times, there are a couple of things you can do..

! u are alloud 10% + 1 (recently reduced form 2 - 1) and insist you were maybe doing 44 but deffinatley not 50 , try and see if the speed change sign was hidden.

Otherwise something that has worked for me, give a guys name and address and say u lent him the car to go put some money in your bank and when he returened your car he dissapeared and he still owes you the money, has to be an address real and name, but the person actually not there, like a youth hostel.
