Arrived this morning at 8.45. by 9am it was fitted to the car it was sooooo easy with the step by step instructions.

wound the adjuster screw 16 times as described and took it for a test drive....

OH MY GOD,[:O] smoother driving, pickup in all gears awesome, and it keeps pulling and pulling and pulling.

So I pulled over and added another 15 turns.....[:D]

Ok now it is like a Rocket, Bit of smoke but WHOA! turnred screw back by five no noticeable loss in power but the smoke has gone. I have a 110BHP AHF Golf had a dabble with 130 tdi on the dual carriage way and ate him alive, he followed me and we had a quick chat as he had always seen me in his rear view mirror not the other way around and thought I had a full rechip and airfilter done as the differnence in perfomance is outstanding.[:)]

For ?152 for the group by it is well worth doing, especially as you get a 14 day money back trial. (not that you would want to take this piece of kit off your motor)

I would def recommend getting one from Garfie as they can be fitted in seconds removed when you sell you car then you can sell the box on e-bay or here for not far off what you paid for it. suits my pocket too as I cant Justify a proper chip.(well my wife cant anyway...!)

Off to drive within the speed limits for the rest of the day with a massive smile on my face.

I'm from bridgend mate,

The boxsystem does sound too good to be true... I thought that too that
is why I Tried it as Grafie will give you 14 day money back trial if
your not happy with it. So I put it on and was well impressed.

Have not put the engine cover back on so pulled over the side of the
road, whipped off the box so I could compare the differnce on the
same stretch of road between two round abouts on the A48. I thought was
happy with my car before I had the box fitted but when I compare with
the boxsystem on the same road it has totally transformed my car.
Acceleration driveabilty the works.

I would not have belived it till I tried it on my car and seen the results.

AND I STILL GOT MORE FINE TUNING I can do.

wait and see what the other members of the group buy say I'm sure they will all say the same.

As for will it be good on a 1.6 I can't see why not, have the free
trial and see what you think, some may tell you it is not worth it but
if you try it and like it good. Whats good for you may not suit someone
else. what have you got to lose....?

right chaps!

starting fitting mine tonight and seeing the lack of places to house the box I decided to modify the battery cover as it is perfect location for box.

This is how far I got, then I got bored so will finish tom night :)

Battery cover straight off car

New holed drilled

Box tie wrapped on, pretty secure. The lips on the box hold against the cover ledges well actually.

Will look better when wired in and you see the full effect, think it will be loads better than tie wrapping to a hose or something.

Mines a PD150 GTI Anniversary (ARL), deffo no screw on it though :(
