Everyone likes the RS4's whereas the A8's divide opinion, i'd go for the A8's, be warned though, I had them on my wifes Audi Cabrio and after 12 months the lacquer started to peel, no high strength detergents were ever used on them either

They're both nice and whichever you choose your car is bound to look a
treat. If it were my car, I'd go for the RS4's, I find the A8's a
little too imposing and aggressive, just my opinion though

Cheers

I'd go for the a8s. there are more golfs with rs4's on then montreal 2's [6]

I've been looking at a8's, and its hard to find a set that are curved in a lot like those on the black car, most have just got a really flat surface and just dont look as good, just my opinion anyway!

I have never seen flat A8s! The all curve in,it just doesnt show up on pics too well.

My thinking is this both the A8,s And RS4s and RS6s too for that matter are all replicas and are going to be a little weaker than OEM wheels,so bearing this in mind i opted for the A8 which leaves virtually none of the rim exposed without a spoke to support it unlike the other 2 where you have maasive areas of un supported rim and if you are running 18s like myself and hit a kerb or pothole or whatever then i'd like to have that support.

Something to bare in mind.esp on the roads where i live : (

polished ones on Rochfords pics dont look too impressive atall, but in the flesh they are 300% better and well worth every penny extra!!!!!

I would have definately gone with the highly polished A8 wheels, they
look outstanding on golfs personally. The only problem with them is
that they seem to be pretty popular.

I was wondering where you are able to get your alloys polished if they do not come like that standard?

I'm gonna get some a8's this week hopfully, but cant decide wether to get 18's or 19's???

I dont think the 18's look as good, but dont want all the hassle that comes with 19's, just cant decide!

I know exactly what you mean mate. 19s definately look nicer but unfortunately that extra inch can create a number of problems. Im still deciding whether or not to go for 18s or 19s. I think at the end of it all i might eventually just go for 18s and lower the car to get the correct stance. This way the car will still have a reasonably smooth ride with the help of upgraded suspension and wont cost you as much to replace tyres!
