rear beam bushes will probly be shot, you can see bits hanging off them usually, front arb bushes may be going too, but cheap enough to fix. Rear beam will be about 150 to sort.

Check for no oil leaks especially from turbo area, and check it aint too smoky when you boot it, can happen with tuning boxes!

Otherwise all the normal car checking, vin numbers check to log book etc.

Welcome aboard.

Simch - 'rear beam bushes will probly be shot, you can see bits hanging off them usually, front arb bushes may be going too, but cheap enough to fix. Rear beam will be about 150 to sort.'

Is this a common problem for this car? How do you know from the inside? Noises? I'm curious now. (not mechanical minded)

I have a 2000 model (88K miles) 115 tdi too and only had a CV joint gaitor replaced so far
