Hi everyone,
Thought I'd join and say Hi as I'm soon to be a Golf owner. I say soon but the estimated delivery date is late March!
I've gone for a 3dr 2litre diesel in non-metallic black, Match spec with the Seattle alloys and Fog lights. I know I'm going to be really happy with the car when it arrives, it's just the waiting that's killing me. That, and the fact that I'm driving a Peugeot 308 at the moment. I wanted to jump out of the window while driving it the other day it's that uncomfortable. Looking through other posts it looks like everyone has had to wait for their cars, so I know I'm not the only one!
The lease car company have said that after 20 weeks VW will provide a car which by their calculation is next week (ordered the car in July!) so hopefully the Peugeot will be gone soon.
Previous to the company car I drove a Vauxhall VX220, which was about as opposite a car as you can get from the Golf, but brilliant for lots of other reasons!

Cheers guys, yea it is a bit really. Only saving grace is its costing me less with hire cars and I should get an 11 reg car.
Some impressive cars on here, shame I wont be able to do much to mine.
