My son has an application for a media course and the interview is during half-term. The master video is at college (which is now shut) but he has posted it to youtube. I stress here that I am not attempting to rip someone else's work off.

Can anyone advise as to how we can pull the video off to DVD, prefereably without loss or compression.

Thanks.

Matt

Thanks for the links and the offer to help. It's much appreciated.

I must be doing something wrong as I can't get the first bit to work although I'm pasting the link in. Do I need to download something first?

Also it mentions that AVI is not as good a quality as MP4. The vid is shot in HD and I need to keep the quality if I can.

I've now managed to get the video on my PC as a MP4, but when I burn it to DVD using that ConvertX program in the link I get a DVD with a watermark on it throughout. To buy the full version is $50 which I don't want to do as it's only for one video.

Are there any other free MP4 to DVD convertors without watermarks? I've tried FoxTab to .VOB but it won't play and the quality is terrible.
