My Problem with going lower.

I have JOM coilovers, my problem is that the rear springs feel tooo
soft any weight in the back and the suspension is REAL low ....

so if i ever have 4 people in the car at my current height i cannot drive faster than 10mph,

other people who use these coil overs must have the same issue?

If people could do the same and show pictures of with no weight and then sitting on the boot that would be great thanks

my joms are on their way and you are getting me worried mate!
Simple - dont carry people in the back! its a sacrifice that alot of us make. I know someone who only ever fills his tank up half way, just so he isnt lower on one side lol
Im afraid this is life..... you want a low car, it WILL be harder to drive.

Yes they look the dogs, but the lower you go, the more impractical the car becomes.

Solution is to lower it and live with it, or leave it at the current height which still leaves the car drivable.

The car is designed to be a lot higher, therefore the lower you go, the more risk of damage and the harder it becomes to drive.

I have my JOM'S as low as they will go on the adjusters and find it ok to drive anywhere with as long as its a road and not a gravel track.
haha, well i never put more than £25 fuel in and if i give a lift the person in the back has to sit in the middle [:D] i guess its right i just feel i can do something you know [:)] i would just like to see some pictures without weight in the back and with weight ie sitting on the boot
Just for the record, I moved house two weeks ago, and managed to fill the golf so there was not an inch of free space. It was still fine to drive as long as I avoided speed bumps. Looked ace how low it was though!

Probably not legal to have it so full though.
maybe they are softer than they should be haha i might just leave it now things like this can start doing your head in cant they haha.

hmm how much is AIR [:)] jks
thanks mate, im slightly confused then, what could be the problem, cause mine defo looks softer :/
not sure your rear wheels look bigger and wider than mine could this be why yours scrubb

i have heard mine scrubb but i hit a dip at 70 on a back road

my wheels are 235 45 17

Depends on the width of the wheel....
