Guys,

I currently have a '99' mk4 GTi 5dr with loverly heated leather recaros and a few other upgrades.

But needs must and I'm looking at an estate mk4 tdi 130 but most come with horrible velour seats![+o(]

I suppose my thinking is i can buy the estate and fit the leather recaro interior from mine into the estate?

Also I have an eibach suspension kit on the GTi which wasn't cheap! so can that be swapped??

I know the front seats and door cards will fit but what about the rear?

I know if i sell the golf I'll be lucky to get £2k for it but its good solid car with a decent engine/box/milltek exhaust/aniversary body kit.
I know the interior will put people off.

main question is will the seats/door cards/suspension fit?

the front seats will be a straight swap into the estate. With the rear seats, the back rests will also swap straight into the estate. However, the bench part of the rear seats (ie the part passengers sit on) is not a straight swap. They may look the same, but they differ with respect to how they are bolted in owing to the fact that this part of the rear seats fold down in a different way between estate and hatchback.
