I thought my ears were burning [:'(]

My baby has a Jabba Remap & a Piper-X panel filter, & nothing more.[sn]

The Miltek exhuast was supposed to down in "the next mod"box, I guess somebody typed it into the wrong box on the day, infact I know they did as I've had emails from JBS quoting prices for one [8-|], I've also let Josh know, so at leat the PVW article will be correct too.

Although the torque is lower than I had hoped, you really dont notice it that much, she still goes like stink [Y]

The question is though, has a JBS car been on Jabba's rollers [li]

Im sure all JBS Custom Code 1.8T's would be making 300bhp [:p]
From the dyno plots I've seen Jabba cars make around 20-30bhp less on the JBS dyno. In my particular case my Golf was 34bhp lower at JBS than Jabba and around 50bhp lower at dubsport.

I'd expect my Octavia to make 260-270bhp on Jabba's old RR.

So, the question is then, are JBS rollers giving out higher than normal figures if dubsport were shown to be lower, thats about a 30% difference between the 2 figures[*-)]

How do you know the rollers you run on are correct ???

Maybe we should have a group day at another set of rollers just too see ????

Most people were down on power at the dubsport RR day. General opinion was that heatsoak was the problem. I posted it just as a comparison. I've seen plots from around 5 Jabba cars at JBS and the results were consistent. Also standard cars make standard power at JBS which is a very good indicator. Early indications from Jabba's new RR suggest it may be more accurate but this has left some customers puzzled as the figures acheived have been significantly down on those quoted on Jabba's website.

I'd be up for an RR day at another RR that uses a load based dyno and have experience of VAG cars.

Just a suggestion for a day out in a different place really, not a jipe [:)]
Sorry Jace if it came across anything other than stating that JBS consistently give stock figures for stock cars, I know you wasn't being funny regarding that.

I'm always up for a day out, would love to try other rolling roads but as Eddy stated they would have to have experience of running turbo charged cars and also use a load based dyno otherwise it would just be a waste of money.

Awesome GTI are having a rolling road installed soon so thats a possible location for a future forum visit.

Well my AUM 18T with a whole heap of bolt-ons didnt make silly power claims on Jabbas RR! about 165hp IIRC.. which would be expected with the mods that were fitted....... think JBS is just the kid in the play ground with the exiting new toy at the moment., not doubting their expertese or product in any way! I might look at it myself!. I'm sure some one will get upset and throw their toys around at some point...
