Just wandering if its any good or not.[?]

Where can I get a copy[8D]

You can buy it from the usual sites or buy it from valves steam network. The are no "copies" available as you have to connect to the steam network to play it, they frove out all dodgy cd-keys.

I heard that it is a bit of pain if you qre running a 56K modem for the steam to register etc

You'll need a relatively powerful graphics card to appreciate it fully as it's pretty intensive on the graphics front. Runs fine on my 5900XT and yup a broadband connection is probably not a bad idea.

If your using Win XP go into Accessories, System Tools, System Information.

In there there is a Components area. Look in Display to see your graphics card and adapter Ram.

PS Half Life 2 rocks. Try FarCry also.

After recently spending ?702 upgrading my PC!!....I bought Doom 3 and FarCry. Both superb games.

Is it worth me getting Half-Life 2 or is Doom3 or FarCry better?

Ive just bought my brother a Game Boy DS with Mario 64 DS and bought myself Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory for PC. Looks good!

Although after playing with the DS for 10 mins im surprised at how good the graphics are. I want one now! lol

Try the demo first though. There's a stuttering problem that I had and sever thousand other people had. Sort of spoils the game as it freezes for a split second every time it loads a new sound (about 100 times per level!). There isn't really any specific hardware config that causes it, so best to test first!

By the way, I bought Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. Very good game and gorgeous graphics (if you've got the pc to handle it) [;-)]
