i finally got a vw spoiler and as well as the small screws it came with it says to use adhesive and then gives a part number.
shall i just get the vw ohe or is there a better one?

I used Sikaflex adhesive, no screws for my anni spoiler. There is a nother one called sex panther or something, can't remember the name.

sikaflex and tigerseal are probably the best and most popular
i have used both i used to bond my plastic arches on my mk 2 and 2 golfs with tiger seal great but messy stuff
