Hi[^]

I meant to post the pics but wanted a good backdrop. (wasn't willing to travel for it) . The snow sorted that out

Anyway here are pics

haven't done much like to keep it subtle

Mods

Lowered (eibach 30mm)
Tint (50% by Tinter)
Colour coded front badge
Debadged, Honda Aerial & Polo Wiper
17" alloys

Wish List

17 " TT Comp alloys but they are too pricey and I have only just bought my current set

Thanks for the comments[:)]

Cat1.4

well spotted, it is a snow flake (Rivage click on the pics for a close up)

To be honest I intended to get A Bonrath grill but the cost of filling the bits and having to respray the bonnet (too much). Went for the cheaper option, had the current grill and badge sprayed. If I had done the badge on its own, would have been cheap but would not have looked right

Rivage

Its a V6 [:)]((I wish))

Only joking its the same as yours without the chip

As its debadged already attracting racers. Two things puting me off chipping Insurance[:(] and will end up racing which has its good and bad points

Chaz

Thanks

Have thought about a black badge or having it colour coded. Decided not to as i feel it wouldnt look right. Car needs to have something whatever side you look at: Front has the lights (eyes), Side has the alloys and the rear has the badge. hope that makes sense. Just my opinion though

cheers

I love that front badge! Was going to do it to mine, then thought it might look crap... clearly, I was wrong [:D

Rivage, I think you're looking at a snowflake [;)]

No it is a badge....its clearly a V6, 4-Snowtion. [;)]

Well if had just had the badge resprayed, then you may have noticed as there are about four different types of bright green[!].Its because the badge sort of touches the horizontal bars. The guy that did the work showed me the lovely colour index book after checking the colour code label in my boot.

he advised that it would be better to spray the grill and badge so it matches perfectly. Also you shouldn't be able to tell as the grill is not flush with the bonnet or bumper. I don't think he was suggesting this just for the money also he was recommended

Cost ?60

hope that make sense[:)]

I bet he did [B)]

No offence, but there's no way I'd have been handing over ?60 for that. I've used 4 tins of VW paint on various bits around the car, just obtained from the code & the match has been perfect. Could have done what you did for ?11 & still had paint left over.

Still, we all choose our methods...

Thanks for the comments[:I]

Will bear them in mind if I decide to do any further mods. "Live & learn"

Hopefully my experience and your comments will prove useful to anyone considering colour coding the front grill
