I'm looking to get the Koni FSDs put on my MKV GTI along with Eibach springs.

Having spoken with a few people that have them already and looking on your website I'm not sure which springs are best to go for?

Someone mentioned the Eibach pro-kit part no of E10-85-014-07-22 but this seems to be for the TDI and not GTI, is there much difference?

Defo go for the Pro kit , these work fantasticlly together , you will NOT be dissapointed

Hey I know what you are saying , and I dont blame you

I had a call from a guy this morning who has them fitted to his MK5

A friend came to see his car last night in regards the exhaust and he went away more impressed with the suspension

Do it , and now is the time too as Koni prices are going up soon

Try it without uprated springs first.

If you speak to Koni they'll tell you the FSD dampers were designed for stock springs, and as such they'll work their best without being lowered. If you lower the car you're essentially upsetting the delicate ride balance Koni have engineered in.

I'm not saying it'll handle badly, but if you want to lower your car, there may be a better choice of springs for you.

I had my Mk 4 on FSDs and Eibach Pro-Kit, and it was really nice handling-wise, but I know it was a lot lumpier ride-wise than if I'd used the stock springs.

The whole point of FSDs is the silky-smooth ride - so if you're going to mess with the ride, you may as well go for coilovers or some yellow Konis - at least then they're adjustable.

Just my opinion :)

In my opinion you will find now that they do the Koni FSD`s

as a kit WITH Eibach Pro kit

The

OEM springs with the FSD`s can make the ride
