Here's what Golfy had just before it went to its new owner..

Allard made it for me.. and its available from them now.

Proven 400bhp friendly with no pressure loss.

Huge Core. Worked very well.

surprisingly not.. i kid you not.

The top plastic slam panel section has a notch cut in it to allow the top entry pipe, but the bumper itself has nect to no trimming req'd. the trick being the radiator stack is pushed back on brackets to make room. something easily doable on an engine bay on a MK4.

It did work very well compared to the SMIC it ran previously. Lots of airflow potential and no p-loss measureable. (it is big!) []

why would'nt it work on a K03'd car? K03's etc are very good heat pumps when running high boost. Need as good a IC as possible

yes. Ask Allard. Their fortay is tunign diesels... and HUGE FMIC they run..

It is'nt peanuts that for sure, but nor is the car it went on. I don't think the price was too different to the few other comparible ones you see here in the UK.
