I've found out today that the best window cleaner that leaves no smears etc is in fact Meguiars NXT Gen Spray Wax. Using a wax applicator and a micro fibre to buff.

However do it in the sunlight so you can see the remaining wax that needs to be removed otherwise you get smears.

Try it over the easter break!!

Just dont use it on your windscreen or you'll be ina world of grease when it rains. I've always used the polish i've done the car with on the windows. I'll 2nd that, really gets greasy & horrid[V]

I use autoglym fast glass on the windscreen though.,At least fast glass doesnt leave a snow storm after [:D]

I disagree. I love the effect it gives on the windscreen, just like a new car.

You've just got to be sooo careful you don't get any on the weather strips that clear the windows when they go down ... a world of smears from that as well.

On the windscreen no problem as long as your blades are good.

It's great fun driving in the rain without your wipers on, you can even play mindgames with yourself and imagine that your actually piloting the Millenium Falcon and the rain drops are actually stars as they streak up your windscreen and that your actually travelling at light speed !!

........Hey chaps,

If normal polish can be likened to warp 1

then

RainX must be warp 2 to 3 ?

and

Hand Glaze must defy the laws of physics ?

maybe

Warp 9.98 ?

................It is IMPOSSIBLE to go over warp 10.

Although I did venture in to the diesel shop [^].
