I've been searching for a good 3 weeks now and I just can't find anything that's sensibly priced, in mint condition with less than 35k on the clock in Diamond Black.

My offer of 12k on the one with knackered alloys was rejected as she sold the car to someone else, she reckons it went for ?15,350...whoever bought that must have been a right mug!

The S3 is going on Saturday as the new owner is collecting her and now i'm car-less [)]

I'm thinking of expaning my criteria to other colours but I know that if I buy a silver/red one a perfect black one will show up a week later!

So come on guys...help me!

FIND ME A BLACK ANNI TDI.....13-14k budget.

Reward for whoever finds the right car [;)]

Heres me wishing I could just drive mine, arrived 3 weeks ago, had it 3 days over weekend and been in the VW garage ever since, apparently an air pressure problem VW have never heard of.

So so gutted, saying that Motorworld Oxford have literally replaced a ton of parts including new turbo so "if" the car comes back in a weeks time or week after shud b literally brand new.

VW direct also involved in it too.

Gud look to u Sem mate

Sem mate I know exactly how you feel. I've spent the last two months looking for an Anni that fits my bill and it just seems like there either too highly priced, or that wrecked you wonder what idiot parted with 18k for it in the first place.

Take my advice and wait, get an ald banger and pootle round in that for a few weeks and you will find one come jan/feb.

Wise words I think Tabs, you will prob get a few Anni owners getting their new GTIs in Jan/Feb.

Here's an Anni TDi in black in mint condition for sale in Ireland Sem.

Only problem is due to Ireland's mad car prices that Anni is GB?20,385 if you were to buy it over here tomorrow so not much use to you unless you want one that bad [:O]

Irish that one looks mint, sat nav too....[:D]

Shame it's so far away and 6k over my budget lol.

There is a nice silver one in the classifieds with low mileage, sounds like a right minter but it's in Belfast, again too far [:(]

I enquired about one last night, sounded perfect....then I asked if the car has ever been run through a carwash. He replied, 'oh no its always washed by hand' so I asked him to email me some higher res pics...

Got the pics ok but they had been taken outside Sainsburys car wash and the car was soaking wet!

It might still be ok. Nothing that a clay bar/pre wax & zymol/swissol would not sort out. Unfortunately not everyone cares for there cars in the same way. At least the owner was making an effort before taking the pics.

Would you not expand your search to include red [?]. I am not normally a fan of red cars, but IMO the Anni looks gorgeous in it. Fair enough if you are set on black though.

I assume you have looked on the Anni register site, and contacted James[?] that runs it.
