Hi,

Just a quick post to see if anyone in this area could help me out. I need to get the timing done on the Golf as I don't know when it was last done. So if I buy the kit and get some beer tokens would someone be able to help me out? I'm good with tools, just don't have the confidence to do Timing on my car or any car for that matter.

If anyone can help, reply on here and will drop you a PM.

Thanks

Chris.

P.s. Couldn't find an FAO area, so sorry if it's in the wrong place.

If i was handy with a spanner id love to help mate but my dad did most of my while i was the light-shiner/tool-holder!

just for info, i got my cambelt kit from VWspares. Ive used 2 Gates kits now and both were great although genuine isnt much more. Then get my metal water pump from Carparts4less (Euro car parts sister company but cheaper
)

Approx £100 in total.
