It looks like it's going to be a smaller version of the golf... it's very heavily muled that one tho - mind you, how cool would those roof lights be in the dark [:D]

Expect to see it with the new corporate grill too

Have u read it, it says it looks alot more aggressive "like the R32", looks nothing like it!

Have you read it? It doesn't say that at all....

Revised Polo models are to be unveiled at the Geneva motor show next spring. They'll (meaning, they WILL) have a more aggressive front end, with a sharper grille similar to that of the Golf R32, and redesigned headlights - despite the disguising in these pictures hinting that a circular twin-lamped arrangement will continue, this could well be a red herring; the Polo will probably end up with single-unit lights very much like those of the Golf,

Yeah front end looks heavily disguised, hope they make those front lights a bit bigger, as they look a bit naff. Back looks ok though.

From what i'd heard it's to have the 150bhp 1.8T engine in it. I'm sure i saw a few pics of it in a 9N they were using to test it.

Can't see it myself. I think we already know that our favourite petrol engine's days are numbered. I could be wrong but isn't it something to do with emmissions?

That said, a decent turbo petrol engine in a Polo may sway me back to VW.

No one's spotted the point I was making.....

The 2.0 FSi puts out 148 bhp....!! so what's the point of a de-tuned 150bhp FSiT?

Is it going to be the old 20vT motor or will they do a new 1.6 FSiT.....????

I guess we'll just have to wait 'til it's unveiled to find out what motor they will actually fit to the GTi....

I would hope VAG would be smart enough to start the new model with new engines, unlike Ford, Vauxhall and the like.
