Ok....as many of you know we are going to try and make something special out of the Bristol meets. It has been suggested, and agreed that we should meet on the 1st Sunday of each month, and that we should alternate meetings between a meal and a special event. I.e. Meal, Special Event, Meal...etc. [<

Suggested ideas for the special event meets include the following: Paintball, Go-Karting, Bowling, Cinema, Haunted House Tour and a Rolling Road day in Newport! Any other suggestions welcome and invited!
Therefore 3rd July will be the start of the new style meets. This will start with a "Meal" meet, which will allow people to socialise and get to know each other a little more. The group will book into a resturant in Bristol (Harvester, Beefeater etc), ideally we wont have to pay a deposit so we can book what we need without the problems of obtaining money from people. Some Meals or Special Events may require a booking fee (location charge, not forum charge), and it has been suggested that the event organiser (to be elected) have a paypal account to take the deposits from attendees.
IMPORTANT: This new style of meets will only work providing that people who put their name forward for events actually turn up!!!!!!! It will not work if we book 3 tables, and only 5 people turn up, not only will that waste our time but it will also make us unpopular with the resturant!! Therefore if you say you are coming, please come!!! [H]
Dont get me wrong sometimes genuine things will happen that will prevent you getting to a meet, but these should be the exception and not the norm! Please dont say you will attend if you are just a "maybe"!. [
