Finally decided to buy myself one these after resisting the temptation for months!

Took me 2-3 hours to fit it but saying that a lot of time was spent reading instructions which are ok but slightly vague in some areas, and the majority of time is spent stripping things out rather than installing.

Could probably do it again in half the time now I know what im doing!

Anyway, I now have Darth Vader sitting in my engine bay! Which is pretty damn cool!

Suuuckk.....Roaaarrrr....psshhhh.

The noise is pretty impressive especially with the windows down! [] Not really driven far enough to comment on power gains yet so we'll see on that one.

Im off to scare some pedestrians! [6] [6]

PS. If anybody can tell me how to host them ill try & get some sound/ video clips of it on my car. I dont know how to host them or creat 'links'? etc.

Has anybody logged MAF readings for a CAI of this type, Carbonio etc?
Id be interested to see what the outcome would be.

I Just slotted the pipe down and jacked the car up to install the filter from under the car. Easier than taking the bumper off!

Yep, from vw speed.

Got my drivers side regulators done at the weekend after a bit of an 'issue' with the door locking mech. I took the passenger door apart too yesterday to check on the regualtors whilst I was in the mood. Fortunatley it appears they have already been replaced for the new style ones! Must have been done before I bought the car, which is a result!

Have you sorted out the issues with your Anni brakes yet?

Well yeah kinda.. they still ain't quite right.. but some of the guys said to give it a bit longer as it may be air workin it's may back to the reservoir or it may be old pads on old disks and they are still wearing into the profile currently worn on them. I'll give it another week or ten days and see how they go. If not, get 'em re bled, I guess.
