Can anybody help with trying to figure out why my hazard lights don't work?

At first i thought it was a faulty switch, but tried a known working switch from a friends car and still no hazard lights. The indicators work fine,as does the lights when arming the alarm, yet when i press the switch i get nothing.

Anyone have any ideas of what it could be and what i should check next?

Imagewerx- Chris should hopefully be on his way
There is a seperate fuse for the hazards than there is for the indicators,in this case it's #39 and should be 15 Amps.

Chris.
This might be where i'm going wrong, for some reason everyone i know thought they were on the same fuse.

I give it a go first thing i hopefully that'll be the end of that[Y]
the hazard lights relay is in the hazard switch as is the indicator relay if I'm not wrong...

Have you tried disconnecting the battery? Leave it for 15 minutes to reset the central locking, then reconnect!

This problem isn't new and the battery has been off plenty of time in the past two years, yet the boot stil doesn't unlock.

Possible broken cable where the loom comes through the hatch?
Check the wiring through here,it's the cause of most electrical problems in the tailgate.....
