Heres the reply i got when i e-mailed him regarding the conflicting dates

Thank you for email. I know you had many choices on ebay and I

appreciate

that you've contacted me. My location is Salerno, Italy and the car is

here

too. I've made the auction for UK because the car is UK model with UK

specs

(right-hand drive). So I'm trying to sell it as low as I can to

complete the

sale fast. The car comes with log book, keys and all documents to

register

it in UK, and also an invoice in your name. It meets DOT and EPA

guidelines

so there will be no problems regarding UK Customs policy on receiving

the

car. I didn't pay for import taxes when the car was brought in Italy

and if

I keep the car like that, I'm going to lose it.

The car has clear title (in my hands), HPI cleared, no outstanding

finanace,

perfect cosmetic and engine conditions. You will have to pay just the

taxes

to register the car in UK. If the car is not how I described it, I

offer a

full refund, upon the return of the car (return shipping on my

expense). The

car is insured during transportation and it takes a week to get it.

The final price for 2004 VW Golf 1.9 TDI GTI is ?3,500 (this price

includes

the shipping and insurance).

Let me know if you are still interested to buy this car.

Regards, Greg

Specs: 2004 Volkswagen Golf 1.9 TDI GTI - 150 bhp, 1,895 cc, diesel,

11,000

miles with full VW service history, 5 door hatch, grey exterior, xenon,

full

sport body styling, climate, ABS, ESP, 6 disc cd changer, adjustible

leather

steering wheel, electric windows, electric mirrors, trip computer, grey

leather seats, alarm & immobiliser, 17" Santa Monica alloy wheels, 6

speed

manual gearbox, nokia bluetooth handsfree kit, warranty, etc

Now we all know its dodgy

But if you think thats bad. Check out the small print on this dodgy deal

Thats shocking. I didnt even notice the small print at first. Looks like the winning bidder didnt either!

I have already contacted the highest bidder all other bidders to tell them about the small print. Luckily he hadn't made payment.

I actually bidding on this auction at the beginning but was e-mailed a warning about it [:I]

I have also contacted ebay regarding the matter but they have not done anything about it, so they must think this kind of fraudulant selling is okay [:(!]

Surely there is some sort of scheme to prevent things like this happening..... I mean its like a salesperson whispering something under his breath and changing the deal in effect....

That is appauling! [:(]
