This Sounds The Most Stupid Question But Please Read On.
I Bought My First Golf E 1.4 16v 1999 Mk IV Last Week And The Chap Told Me That The Central Locking Was Not Working And Considering The Price It Wasn't An Issue. Its Not Got A Fob Central Locking System I Know That For Sure.
It's A 5 Door And Has Flush Door Pins, But No Electric Windows?. I Cannot See Vw Selling A Car Without Fitting Central Locking To It Because The Only Way To Open The Back Doors Is To Open The Front Doors And Reach Through The Seats And Pull On The Door Handle Twice? To Me Thats Silly. My Next Door Neighbour Who Is Mechanically Inclined Someone Took The Door Cards Off And He Said There Is A Wire Going Thought To The Secondary Metal Door Cover So There Is A Chance That It Has But I'm Unsure. Don't Wanna Take The Car To Pieces With My Knowledge And Find Nothing.
