The ECS kit doesn't require spacers (but is better kit and more money....)

Which is what I aim to get sometime next year.

The fact that it doesnt require spacers is a big bonus over Brembo's.

One of the guys that comes to the Glasgow meets has the Brembo kit on his anni and I'm sure he had to have spacers. He doesn't come on here, but I think he is friends with Phatphil, could try PM'ing him[?]

Gary, you can try a wheel over mine at some point if you're still considering brembos.

Thanks Eddy, that will be sometime next year.

I'd be quite happy with the Brembo's as Im sure they are just as good but for much less money but spacers on my front wheels is the last thing I want after the wobble I experienced with my last set of spacers.

The critical dimension is 50mm caliper clearance as per this picture>> http://badger-5.com/bin/wheel-section-view.gif

minimum diameter of 17" wheel req'd.

Spacer to around 5mm max on plain disk type is ok, with sufficient length wheel bolts. Wheel wobble wont happen on correct fitting, correctly dimensioned and chosen spacers..

There is no equal brake kit for the money of Brembo's.. IMHO - stop tastic!

I run AP Racing calipers and disks on my Ibiza for track use and they cost me trade over ?1200+vat... are they x3 better than Brembo's?? Not a chance.. marginally better on braking and cooling (from 2 piece disks)
