I've got a GT TDI 115PD with non-heated, non-recaro cloth seats, an arm rest, and no centre head rest at the back. Pretty boring trim level in fact.

Though it DOES say on the sticker in the boot that its highline spec. Good points (dunno what options there actually were) are front and rear arm rests, aircon, in dash CD player & 6 CD changer in the boot... don't think it has sports suspension or big brakes?
yours is the same as mine then highlines are imports
Not all Highlines are imports; I fairly sure that all VW UK (1.8/2.0/110-130TDI)GTIs have "Highline" on the build sticker.

My Sept 2001, 51 Reg GT TDi (115PD) came with a list price of ~ ?18,000 with all the following options fitted.

Full Leater Sports Interior

Heated Fronts Seats

Winter pack inc Headlamp wash

Climatronic

3rd Headrest and full seatbelt

Multi-function Trip Computer

Metallic Diamond Black paint

Cruise Control VW Mats front & rear

VW mudflaps

ASR & ABS are std on this aren't they?

Gave a boss at work ?12,500 for it 18 months / 16,000 miles later.[H]

No, Matt's right - only the 150PD Highlines are imports - the other cars he mentions such as the 115 are highlines in UK spec too. (it's one reason why the GT TDi handles so badly - they don't have GTi spec suspension!)
