sorry about your points and fine but i'm glad the cop took this route, all the time we hear people moaning that the police don't enforce the laws that they think should be enforced yet they also want them to ignore the laws they don't like the sound of.

the laws the law, we all know we shouldn't park on zigzags or we could get a fine and points.

i think people should get fined for zigzags, parking on corners, stopping in yellow box junctions, blocking round abouts as all this is against the higway code!

the three points wont affect your 4 years NCB but to be honest insurance premiums have gone up 40% anywho. I got 3 points an a ?60 fine for an sp50 a few years ago and that didnt affect my NCB or premium at all.

insurance companies pretty much expect even the most competant drivers to have accumulated 3 points, one incident in many years isnt such a bad thing, even though you know you could have avoided it

cop's just tryin to scare you into being more on the ball in future

you probably wouldnt get much of an increase if anything, it wont go up at all. just do a few quotes with different companies and for parking a car somewhere, i dont think it makes you more risky.

I got three points a few years back two weeks befor my insurance was up for renewal. Informedmy insurers and the premium went up ?150.

Haha sorry guys, i realised after i written this thread that it looked like i got the points and fine for a DE-CAT. I know, hopefully it won't go up and also BENGIE - i know not to moan lol as the police are usually right and i knew what i did was wrong[Y]

yeah mate, its just that people normally moan about getting done for breaking the law be it parking on zigzags, speeding or something like that and you never. i liked that. []
