Fitted a Pioneer 77MP3 unit to it, and plan to change the badges on the back to mimic those of the R (i.e. ditch 20vt and Seat... have LEON spaced out below the 'S', and Cupra on its own at the right!)

My mum doesn't think the same about the colour..... she's convinced people will wanna nick it from outside the house! Thing is, it's gotta be cheaper to insure than the GTI for some reason!! []

really like the cupra's specially with that style of wheel. my mates got a black one with the multi spoke wheels. Goes real well. pulls like a train in top even with four adults in it.

Done about 150 miles already today.. and thoroughly impressed througout with it. Much more eager to pull from low down than the GTI was, a nice exhaust note, i can now actually hear that i have a turbo (!), firm but not over firm suspension... plus point being that it is so much more entertaining to drive than the GTI. And it looks the part too if i do say so myself! []

Well done Chris, i think it looks great in red....you made a good choice.

I love the new car feeling, bet you can't stop driving it...I was the same with my S3! I've not even had it for a month yet and still any excuse to take it out for a blast!

Is it the pic or are your tailpipes misaligned, the one on the right looks a bit lower?

Just about every cupra I see, including my own, has slightly droopy tailpipes.

Easily resolved though by wrapping a cable tie round one of the exhaust rubbers.

Yeah Sem yer right, tailpipes are slightly misaligned... but then again, if thats the only gripe i can pick with the car, it aint all bad! It really is immaculate... i've yet to find a single blemish or mark on the car in or out []

I dont want to blow my own trumpet (so to speak!!), but i dont think the pics do it justice at all... especially not the colour which almost looks pinky in the pics. The one thing i thought i wouldnt like, the wheels, have actually changed my mind about them... they dont look as dwarfed by the bodykit as i originally thought they did...

I like that! I kinda have a soft spot for Seat as I've had a couple (no serious ones) but I like the fact that you get more car for less money! Enjoy it Chris!
