So it was friday afternoon, on my way back from work. Coming round a corner and slid into a vauxhall. Insurance isn't covering me as im only third party F+T. And was my fault.

As this is my first car i'd really like to get it back on the road. I was thinking spares from the scrapyard, As vw would charge a fortune!

See what you guys think

Cheers.

Unless you have some friends in the trade I'd say you should break it.
nah that look repairable, by the looks of it,

new driver side wing, front bumper, driver headlights, maybe the hub might be damaged, not sure what condition its in behind the bumper though
That's what i thought, oh i forgot to mention the airbags deployed, But they can be sorted after christmas. Just need to take it out of the car impound now. And somehow drive it home! [doh]
that might cost a bit for the airbags though
where abouts are you based???

I know someone who breaks german cars and breaks alot of mk4 golfs. Im near manchester. He can probably get you every part you need and at a reasonable price,

Start off by removing all the damaged parts, it will give you a better indication on where to start from.
You might need to put it on a trailer- or the fuzz may get overly interested and bring up "Unsafe for Road Use".
If the crumple zone is ok then repair it, if thats out of shape its going to be alot harder
we have got a wing bonnet bumper and headlight
get the front striped down to see if youve damaged the chassi legs, slampannel etc, hows the engine bay look? has anything shifted? the lower arm may be bent too
Looks bad but seen worse get repaid mate, at least your ok could be worse

Looks like the Vauxhall got the worst of it.
Was going to say the same, testament to VW tanks lol
