Im in the process of removing the charcoal filter, and need to sort out the wiring so that the ECU doesn't throw up a fault. I've read about the resistor that can be fitted to make the ECU 'think' its still in situ, but seems a bit half arsed to do that!

Ive also seen a few people mention coding the charcoal canister out of the ECU with VAG-com. This seems like a better option to me, but Ive searched high and low to find any information on it, or a how-to, but to no avail. Does anyone have anymore information regarding coding this out of the ECU?
